We regret to advise that we have to cancel the Sunny 80 event scheduled for June on the Sunshine Coast due to the inordinate amount of rain experienced there over the past month. After Cyclone Alfred dropped almost 400mm in 48 hours in early March, the area received another 325mm of rainfall over the past week. After consultation with Parks and Council, many of the trails we planned to use at Parklands and Ewen Maddock are currently under water so we could not proceed with any confidence in delivering the event in June. 

All registered riders will receive a full refund or can transfer their entry to either of our coming events – The Orca (NSW) in September, The Wild Penguin (Tas) in November or The Mystic Yak (Vic) in March 2026. Thank you for your understanding and we wish everyone in Queensland and Northern NSW a speedy recovery in those communities affected by the flooding.
