Friday 13th March
Yack Creek Distillery
The opening stage of The Mystic Yak for 2026 on Friday is going to focus upon the Yackandandah Tracks on the eastern side of The Indigo Epic Trail. This network of tracks has fast garnered a glowing reputation on the east coast as one of Australia’s best new riding destinations, and the stage that we have design is highlighted by the amazing Gold Rush Trail coupled with Homeward Bound, an epic 6km flow trail that is aptly named as it will bring all riders back to the Finish Line. Starting and Finishing at the beautiful Yack Creek Distillery, we promise a stage that will blow the cobwebs out and leave smiles from ear to ear, whether riders chose the full or short course option!
stage TWO
Saturday 14th March
5 Acres Wandiligong
Saturday morning will again see us head to the beautiful town of Bright and out to the start venue at 5 Acres, Wandiligong. Ahead lies a smorgasbord of ridiculously good single trail, but you will have to earn your turns as there is some solid climbing to start and in the middle to break up the field and add another layer to the challenge! Our stage alignment will include the best of Mystic, including Flowmingo, Lemon Squeeze, Tombstone, Couch Surfer, Sugar Glider and Shred Kelly’s Last Stand. Don’t be fooled by the shorter length of both stage options for this day, Mystic is a host venue that is anything but easy, but oh so very rewarding!
stage three
sunday 15th March
Beechworth
The final stage on Sunday will start and finish just down the road from our host venue at Bridge Road Brewery. This time around riders will tackle the Indigo Epic Trail from the Beechworth side, including some of the best trails from Stage 1, but also featuring Reservoir Race, My Little Pinky and the smooth flowing Baarmutha Belter to bring riders back to the Finish line. We can promise an absolutely crazy good stage to finish the Mystic Yak for 2026, to be followed by presentations and a couple of well earned drinks back in Beechworth at the Bridge Road Brewery!
