Our first running of The Mystic Yak was a huge success and riders left raving about the awesome trails in Victoria’s High Country! Now we are back in 2026 for a second edition from 13th – 15th March.

This time we are ramping things up another notch, with three full stages, but both a full and short course option each day, to cater for riders of all levels and abilities.

We Want You – To Have A Crack At The Yak!!!

If you haven’t been to Victoria’s High Country you are in for a treat! The beautiful towns of Beechworth, Yackandandah and Bright play host to our long weekend, whilst the Mystic MTB Park and the Indigo Epic Trail networks that form the majority of our course are as good a trails as any you will ride in Australia.

What Our Riders Say

I have done a few multiday racing events in the past in Tasmania and on the mainland, this one was set up and organised excellently and it was good to enjoy the post racing vibes over lunch and a drink meeting lots of great riders from all over Australia. The rider comraderie was awesome and everyone was very supportive of everyone’s riding abilities and just getting out there and giving it a go.

BIG NEWS!!! 📣 Quad Events are excited to announce that we will be running two events only in 2026 - The Mystic Yak from March 13-15 in Victoria`s High Country and The Black Pearl from November 14-16 back in the Hunter Valley Region of NSW. ☠
But less is more as we move the format of both events to Three Full Stages from the Friday to Sunday, with a Full and Short Course option to cater for riders of all abilities. Registrations are Now Open for the Mystic Yak with more details coming later in the week! 🚵
